HKG50 (HKG50^)

A free-float adjusted index weighted on market capitalisation, the Hang Seng is a Hong Kong stock market index.

The Hang SENG Index (HSI) was started at a base of 100 points in 1969. It passed 10,000 points for the first time in 1993, 20,000 in 2006 and 30,000 in 2007, before retracing back to the 15,000 levels during the financial crisis, the record high were recorded in Feb 2018.

The HSI is split into four indexes, Commerce and industry, Finance, Properties, and Utilities.
